요약 A climate change means differences for long term of climate in a certain area. The temperature of climate continues to increase over time on the globe due to man-made reasons (green-house gases, forest destruction and etc.) and natural reasons (solar energy, orbital of earth and etc.) (IPCC 2014). As results of climate change, disasters have been occurring in the world extreme intensity of rainfall, increment of sea level, huge disaster and various damages). Specially, the rainfall intensity related with landslide and increment of landslide causes human and property damages. The landslide is affected by several factors, such as friction angles of slide, soil types, water contents and rainfall intensity. The landslide early warning systems have been developed by different parameters according to special regional features. So, many of countries have been studying a landslide early warning system (LEWS) to prevent damages. For example, Taiwan operates a LEWS using NCDR (the National Science & Technology Center for Disaster Reduction) and SWCB (Soil and Water Conservation Bureau). Italy developed a LEWS with 2,300 rainfall data having collapse history of land. U.S runs a LEWS by accumulation rainfall, rainfall intensity-duration and soil moisture levels (Baum and Godt 2010). Canada developed LEWS using landslide histories in British Columbia, rainfall and geological features for workers of forest (Jakob et al. 2003). Japan developed a LEWS using critical line with rainfall and soil-water index (Osanai et al. 2010). Finally, Korea also has developed various LEWS using various factors. This study researched characteristics of Korean landslide and analyzed various LEWS and then suggests further improved LEWS regarding smart city.
